HHI Leadership Forum: Driving Forward Healthy Housing Together  

The HHI Leadership Forum is a quarterly gathering of sector leaders, stakeholders, and researchers committed to advancing the goals of the Healthy Housing Initiative (HHI). Designed as a strategic space for dialogue and collaboration, the Forum focuses on current challenges and opportunities across housing and health, including regulatory changes, tenant wellbeing, and housing quality. Each session will highlight recent developments, ongoing HHI activities, and spotlight leadership in action – from frontline innovation to research impact. The Forum also serves as a space to shape the direction of future HHI work, including professional development opportunities such as the MSc Housing Leadership.

We’re inviting housing and health professionals, researchers, policymakers and lived experience advocates to join the University of Huddersfield’s Healthy Housing Initiative (HHI) Leadership Forum – a collaborative space to lead change together.  

As the challenges facing housing systems grow more complex, from the cost-of-living crisis and health inequalities to regulatory change and retrofit, the need for shared leadership and cross-sector collaboration has never been greater.  

The HHI Leadership Forum brings together a diverse group of individuals working at the intersection of housing and health to inform, guide, and shape the work of the Healthy Housing Initiative (HHI). This quarterly online meeting is a space to: 

  • Hear the latest research, policy developments, and best practice.  
  • Contribute insight from your work, research, or lived experience.  
  • Help co-produce the future direction of the HHI.  
  • Collaborate with others working across housing, health, regulation and community practice.  
  • Learn about and feed into new professional development opportunities – including the new MSc Housing Leadership.  

This isn’t a formal governance group or committee. Instead, it’s a collaborative space where diverse perspectives can come together to drive positive change in housing and health.  

Whether you work in local government, housing associations, regulation, research, tenant advocacy, or frontline delivery, we want your voice to help shape our work.
